What’s the difference between transactional and promotional SMS?
Transactional SMS is triggered by something the customer did or needs to know, such as an OTP, a receipt or a balance alert. Promotional SMS markets offers to a contact list and must include a way to opt out.
How should I set up OTP codes?
Use short numeric codes, make them expire after a few minutes, limit how often a user can request a resend, and never put the code in a link. Generate and check codes in your own system; the SMS only delivers them.
How much does an OTP SMS cost?
OTPs are billed like any other SMS, at the rate for the recipient’s network and your plan. See the pricing page for current rates.
Can I see whether a code was delivered?
Yes. Delivery reports for each message are posted to your callback URL, and you can look up a message by its ID.
